Curry Making Workshop

April 11 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This workshop we are quite excited about! Young people will make two curries using their own made curry pastes and sauces. We will begin the session making our own bread, move onto curry pastes and then continue with preparing the curries.
We envisage that this workshop will take around 2 hours although this is a pilot project and so this may differ
All sessions are held in our open plan kitchen and we sit together to eat their food, enhancing social skills
This workshop is suitable for children aged 9- 15 (this is a guide, contact us if your young person is outside this age range) And is suitable for children of all abilities, children with special educational needs are very welcome to all sessions. There will be cutting, grating and cooking on the hob and so participants need to be able to listen and observe to safety instructions.
We hope that this workshop may appeal to older children and help them on their journey to independent living!
Parents are welcome to stay with their children and participate or enjoy a coffee in the front of our bistro
As we are a not for profit organisation profits from workshops like this go back into the project to help subsidise sessions for Children with SEN and Toddler Cooking sessions
